Gearing up for the Holiday Buying Season? We have fun news to share. Yahoo! Shine, a women's channel on Yahoo! had a shout out for applications for a new program they are calling the Get-It-Guide Guru. I have been selected with 9 other women from across the country as one of their Get-It-Guide Gurus! I'll have a chance to be one of their featured experts and test hot products and write about them. There will be some special media assignments to participate in as well. This group of 10 women will learn more when we meet with their marketing team at Yahoo! next week.
For the past 8 months I have been freelancing for Yahoo! Contributor Network, formerly Associated Content. I've been polishing my writing chops and it has been a remarkable learning experience. I've met some amazing writers and I am learning a TON.
Stay tuned as I learn more about this fun assignment. In a few months we should have our annual holiday gift guide ready to launch based on products we have been able to try and test first hand. Shine on!
