As a Midwesterner, one of the things I miss about living in California is seeing the leaves change colors. We just don't have the same colorful show here on the West Coast as we do back in my prairie state. Don't get my wrong, you can find some trees putting on a fall show but you have to look. It is just not as prevalent. I do have one tree in my neighborhood that really turns into an array of vibrant colors in October. It is really one of the few in my hood that gives me a taste of home.
