This photo was taken on our summer vacation to Germany. Gutach Falls is the highest waterfall in Germany and one of the main tourist attractions of the town of Triberg (that and the numerous cuckoo clock stores). The waterfall spills downhill for more than 525 feet and is only accessible by foot.
After debating whether or not we wanted to pay the park entrance fee (they nickel and dime you everywhere) we hiked up the trail and soon realized that the sights and sounds were worth the price of admission.
