I've got a little bit of nature in my pantry. It could be worse, right? I could have mice or some other infestation, but I've got moths. I don't know where they are hiding but every time I open my pantry door, I see one or two sluggish moths resting on my crown molding (yes, I've got crown molding in my pantry). They are easy to
I confess, I'm no neat freak. My pantry shelves are a little discombobulated, but I have clearly defined food shelves and appliance shelves. I've never had this problem before.
To try and combat these pests, I've thrown out any open boxes of dry goods and snacks. I've wiped down my mixers, baking pans, vases and baskets. I've vacuumed every crumb and tried to really organize this space. I've done all that I can aside from pulling everything out and fumigating. Help! Any suggestions on how to get rid of these winged pests once and for all would be greatly appreciated.
P.S.--I just couldn't bring myself to take a photo. Somehow posting a cartoon version seems less icky! Am I crazy for admitting that I've got these things in my house?
Any luck with the moths? I was having problems with moths last year and it was driving me crazy. In my case, it turned out to be a package of pasta that I had bought from the store... no, it wasn't that old, just a few weeks, but somehow filled with moths.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, I am still finding these pesky insects! Every time I go in my pantry, I immediately look up at the ceiling to see what is hanging out there. It is driving me nuts!
