Lego Harry Potter Years 5-7 for PSVita

By J. Fell, 14 years
4 out of 5 stars
Lego Harry Potter Years 5-7 for PSVita, by Tt Games, WB Games, and Lego offers the best Lego video game series game play ever to be seen on any portable device.  It uses the PlayStation Vita’s 5 inch OLED screen to its full capabilities.  For the graphics, they are just like a full PS3 or XBOX360 port.  You get the same gameplay out of it just as you would with the console version.  It follows the story very well, and also incorporates the touch screen well.  The controls are good, and the game runs very smoothly.  The game is fun, though it isn't totally clear what you are supposed to be doing throughout the story.  E. Lin, age 9 said, "The game is super fun, but I think it helps for people who have read the books."
The game is very long, provided many hours of gameplay.  Using magic is simple and fun.  You can move items, build objects, and face off in battles with other wizards.  The one on one battles are especially fun.  There are different spells which you can choose from to use at any time.  You can also change characters, which different ones specify in different things.
The incorporation of owl pets is fun also, just in case anyone wants to do some flying (that's me).  I recommend this game for anyone who loves any game in the Lego video game series, and anyone who is a Harry Potter lover.  The game truly is the best one yet in the Lego video game series to ever debut on a portable gaming device, thanks to the upgraded PSVita.  Everything comes together perfectly, though I defiantly recommend understanding the plotline of Harry Potter before picking this game up.  You can find this game for $34.99 on the Sony Entertainment Network, or $39.99 in cartridge form at a supermarket.
Overall Review: 4/5 Stars
