Are You Internet Safe? @AVGSAFETY

I had the chance to learn more about AVG and their line of security products to keep your family internet safe.  I always thought of myself as being rather tech savvy, but these days technology changes so quickly and new products are always being introduced.  For instance, do you know what a Digital Footprint is?  Even if you think you know, check out this interactive tool on the Discovery Channel site that give a great overview for you and your kids.

More than ever it is critical to sit down with your children and teach them how to be Internet safe.  As TechMama says, "Web safety is the new Sex Talk."

So it was definitely with great interest that I learned about AVG's 2013 line up of products. For the tech department in your home (aka MOM) it is a MUST to check these out.  Plus many of them are free to download.  There are even apps for your smartphone.

And for those with Windows based laptops there is even a terrific product called PC TuneUp.  As all MS Windows users know, after about 2 years your PC will slow down due to all of the applications running in the background.  PC TuneUp to the rescue.  I've been using it for 3 days and finally I don't have a stalled computer.  I think this will help me survive for a few more months - I was ready to buy a MacBook!
