Fresh and Easy - Stay Healthy with Good Food

Just a few things from Fresh & Easy to make your holidays festive and cheerful!
Are you trying your hardest to stick to a healthy diet during the most gluttonous time of the year?  So frequently you hear about folks saying they gained an easy 5 or 10 pounds over the holidays.  How can you watch your waistline with cookies and cocktails?

Well how about frequenting Fresh & Easy.  This is a new chain of grocery stores that's hitting the Bay Area.

During this time of year it seems there is scrumptious food everywhere.  Office parties, cocktail parties, cookie exchanges - you name it - too much food and often not healthy.

My daughter with Chef Cyndi from Fresh and Easy
I recently attended an event where we were introduced to Fresh & Easy, a new chain of grocery stores that offers amazingly fresh food and at extremely reasonable prices.  Fresh & Easy is similar to Trader Joe's but with really fresh ingredients, not your packaged frozen entrĂ©es (Trader Joe's seems to be getting more and more recalls by the way).

At Fresh & Easy you will find mouthwatering meals such as a roasted turkey dinner or ravioli to go.  There's a whole Take Out section with 100% fresh ingredients.  Called "Kitchen To Go." Fresh & Easy development chefs were given a wide open kitchen to come up with wonderful meals. These restaurant-worthy meals include American, Italian, Asian and Mexican cuisines.  Prices range from $1.99 to $9.99 and you can mix them up to come up with a meal that makes you look like a brilliant chef to your friends and family.  Think Sandra Lee of FoodNetwork Fame (Semi Home-made).  All of these are delivered fresh daily.  What could be better?

So check them out here to find a store near you.  If you don't have one yet, you'd better put it on your holiday wish list!

Full disclosure: I was invited to participate in a Fresh & Easy hosted event.  All opinions are 100% my own.
