As you know my kids love to read. And while they read both digital and hardcopy, I have to say my kids LOVE LOVE LOVE and prefer having a hardcopy of a book to place in their shelves. Being able to see their library is so satisfying. They also re-read a good book if they love a story, it's like reliving it all over again.
One of my most pinned images on Pinterest happens to be about books, it is this image above with the "Hunger Games" collection - one of my kid's favorite book series so far.
This Valentine's Day why not give the gift of reading to your loved ones? Here are some of my favorite titles to check out:
These "Little Critter Books" by Mercer Mayer are some of my all time favorites.
Little Critter: Just a Little Love (My First I Can Read)
Everyone, even little critters, need a little love. Little Critter celebrates Valentine's Day in this beautifully written and illustrated book. Maybe this will be your child's favorite!

Love Is Real
This is a beautiful book that brings together a family of foxes, bunnies and bears who teach each other about the true power of love. Written by Janet Lawler and illustrated by Anna Brown.
Great for ages 4-8.
Pete the Cat: Valentine's Day Is Cool
Kids cannot get enough of Pete the Cat! So pick up a copy of "Pete the Cat: Valentine's Day is Cool" and get another for your chid's classroom!
Pete thinks Valentine's Day isn't too cool. That is until he realizes how many cool cats there are in his life. Check out the cards Pete makes his loved ones and just how special this day turns out to be for Pete.
Written and illustrated by James Dean

The Book of Love
For the middle school-age child, this is a coming-of-age book about true love. Does love mean you chance having a broken heart? Is love worth the pain? This is a sequel to "The Secret Sisterhood of Heartbreakers" and promises to be a tantalizing sequel.
Written by Lynn Weingerten
Ages 13 and Up
So check out these great titles and stock up with Books of Love for your loved ones!
