My blogging partner wrote earlier in the week about the wonderful time her friend had on San Francisco's Ride the Duck excursion. My family also had a great time this past Easter Sunday. We participated in a local Easter parade that spanned about 1 mile and ended up at Ghirardelli Square.
Amid the noise of the fun "quakers" they hand out to each guest, we danced on board the boat as fun party music blared out from the speakers. We meandered our way through the parade route, it was a wonderful sunny Sunday.
After we reached our destination we disembarked the DUCK and were led through a private tour of Ghirardelli Square. We got a great lesson in the history of the landmark. All of us were treated to a nice Easter gift bag of delicious chocolates before making our way to explore the area on our own. Rather than wait for the Ride the Duck trip back to our car, my family opted to have a nice Easter lunch at McCormick & Kuleto's Seafood Restaurant which has an outstanding view of the bay. Lunch was fantastic.
Then we Uber'd our way for only $15 back to our car and ended our nice day in the city. If you're looking for something to do up in the city with family or out of town guests, Ride the Duck is a wonderful option. Check out this link to see a map of tour. They also have special packages and party tours for groups and corporations. For something different, check them out. We love Ride the Duck!
