Well, every morning, while sipping my cup of coffee, I check 4 sites just to see what kind of goodies are out there waiting for me:
- Amazon for their deal of the day (did you know they had a deal of the day?)
- Slickdeals.net- This has become a new favorite because they recently added a feature where you can click your city and see all of the various deal of the day site feeds. Now I can go to just this one site and see what bargains await me in the San Jose area.
When I'm looking for something specific, I usually find the best deals by doing a Google Shopping or Nextag search. eBay might be the site that comes to mind but I generally find better deals with these two.
And lastly, I never place an order without searching for a coupon code. My favorites are Retailmenot or Coupon Cabin but there are plenty of others to choose--just take a few minutes to do a quick search using search strings like "coupon code for xyz."
While my shopping skills may be fined tuned, the one skill I haven't mastered is turning a good deal down. If you don't need it don't buy it. Or so I've been told.
great friend in the internet. W
