GIVEAWAY! 'The AVENGERS'

What happens when you recruit Marvel Super Heroes Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, Thor, Captain America, Hawkeye and Black Widow?  That's just what Nick Fury, director of the international peacekeeping agency otherwise known as S.H.I.E.L.D., does in order to create the ultimate Super Hero Dream Team. 

Marvel's "The Avengers" is not only an ensemble cast of heroes but also a marvelously talented cast of actors including Robert Downey Jr. (Tony Stark/Iron Man), Chris Evans (Steve Rogers/Captain America), Mark Ruffalo (Bruce Banner/The Hulk), Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Scarlett Johansson (Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow), Jeremy Renner (Clint Barton/Hawkeye), Tom Hiddleston (Loki), Sam Jackson (Nick Fury), Cobie Smulders (Agent Maria Hill), and Gwyneth Paltrow (Pepper Potts).

Fans of the "Iron Man" movies will recall the fortuitous scene when Nick Fury says to Tony Stark in the end credit scene, "You're part of a bigger universe, you just don't know it yet."  That was the first inkling that a larger super hero movie might be in the works.   Soon after they built on that buzz and did the same thing on "The Incredible Hulk."  Eventually the movies "Thor" and "Captain America: The First Avenger" built up a large fan base as well, so creating a team of super heroes had an even larger fan base.

Stan Lee and Jack Kirby are the creators of "The Avengers."  It was first published in 1963 and initially consisted of Iron Man, The Hulk, Ant-Man and Wasp.  Captain America would join soon after.  Stan Lee, now 89 years old, is the creative force behind these action heroes with Jack Kirby as his artistic side kick.

Get ready for some super action with "The Avengers" opening May 4th, Friday, in theaters everywhere.  To go along with all of this excitement, we have a great giveaway for one lucky reader:
