The remainder of 2011 will have plenty of animated sequels and rejuvenated classics. Earlier in the year we saw several brand new animated movies that received rave reviews and did well in the box office including "Gnomeo and Juliet," "Rio" and "Rango." All 3 of these movies were new concepts and based on their ticket success we're sure to see sequels in the future.
Once a successful animated formula has proven itself at the box office you can be sure it will be capitalized upon. Kids and parents will have plenty of animated movies to last the rest of the year. Here's a list of the most anticipated animated sequels and updated classics coming out in 2011.
